We are Sabiye and Koen, the proud owners of Casa Zilou, a place we lovingly created to give you a warm, welcoming feeling. This house is more than just walls and furniture – it’s a place where stories come together, with every corner reflecting a piece of our journey.
Casa Zilou is not just a house; it’s our way of sharing the world with you. From the tranquil atmosphere of Portugal to the vibrant influences of Bali – everywhere you can feel our love for the distant and the unknown. Located near the bustling world city of Lisbon (40 min.) and Porto (2 hours) in the picturesque coastal village of Foz do Arelho, Casa Zilou offers the perfect balance between adventure and tranquility.
The name Casa Zilou is a tribute to our daughters, Zita and Lilou, who remind us every day of what truly matters: connection, warmth, and the freedom to be yourself.

This is the ideal spot for both relaxed and active holidaymakers.
